Faye Toogood’s range of ceramic designs for 1882 Ltd. celebrates the serendipitous beauty of natural imperfections. Indigo Storm, a new interpretation of traditional creamware forms, draws upon the chance patterns created when pigment added to the slip coating does not fully blend. Representing a streamlined take on our ceramic heritage, the fine earthenware employs the familiar tones of English Delftware: cream offset with a rich, deep blue.

Faye Toogood is a British designer known for her experimental approach to materiality, creating handmade furniture and objects through small-scale artisans. With a background in fine art and the magazine industry, her sculptural work, grouped into numbered "Assemblages," emphasizes rawness and instinct while exploring materials and spaces in a unified narrative.
